I primarily chose this unit because I wanted to keep it simple to start.

Though many full standalones offer some additional cool features, for the price, this unit was a better option, it does most of the advantageous features that contribute towards torque and power production.. All the other gidgets and gadgets were a waste for me personally.

In the future Pro-EFI may be the route I go with a EMS...

I for 1 advocate full standalones, since it does work out cheaper if you start that way, vs doing what most do (including myself).. Buy up several MAF related parts to help improve the flow and performance output,etc...

But hey, its a great option for those looking to upgrade away from MAF and dive into the superior MAP system at a attractive sub-$500 price tag.
